The Home Health (Private Duty) Program

Home Health is an essential part of ASC’s continuity of care initiative. Staffed by a Donna Oliver, Certified Nurse Assistant, under the direction of nurse Candi Tucker, the program assists residents of the Academy Village who live independently but need help with activities of daily living, errands, and appointments.

Donna offers assistance through an illness or injury, during recovery from a hospital stay, or on a periodic basis when extra support is needed.

Services include

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, walking, and exercise
• Light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, meals, mail, and trash
• Assisting with organization of the home (including paperwork)
• Driving the client’s car to town for errands or appointments

Home Health is a fee-for-service program. Users must be subscribers to the Wellness program. Please contact the Wellness Center or Business Office for current rates.
